chuckthokey.com is published by Chuck Thokey, founder and CEO of TOP REP Sales & Leadership Training, Dayton, Ohio. Questions about anything on this page go to the contact page.
What this site collects
There are no analytics scripts, advertising pixels, or third-party trackers running on this site. Nobody is being profiled here.
The web host records ordinary server logs for every visit — IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, and the time. Those logs exist to keep the site running and to detect abuse. They are not used to identify individual readers and they are not linked to anything else.
Contacting me
If you email or call using the details on the contact page, I keep what you send for as long as it takes to answer you and to keep a record of the conversation. It is not added to a marketing list, sold, or shared with anyone outside my company.
Embedded video
Several pages link to and embed video hosted on YouTube. Where a video is embedded, YouTube behaves exactly as it would if you visited YouTube directly: it can set cookies, record your interaction with the player, and, if you are signed in to a Google account, associate that activity with you. That collection is governed by Google’s privacy policy, not this one. Links that leave for another website carry the same caveat — once you follow one, that site’s policy applies.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies for ordinary reading. Cookies appear only if you sign in to administer the site.
Who your data is shared with
Nobody. There is no data broker, no advertising network, and no mailing-list provider attached to this site.
How long anything is kept
Server logs rotate on the host’s ordinary schedule. Email correspondence is kept as long as it is useful and deleted on request.
Your rights
You can ask what I hold about you, ask for a copy, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write to me through the contact page and I will respond. Depending on where you live, you may have these rights under the GDPR, the UK GDPR, or a state privacy law such as the CCPA; I honour these requests regardless of where you are.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date below changes with it.
